About us

Eltham Men's Shed was Incorporated in August 2014 and now established at 20 Wattletree Rd, Eltham North.
In December 2019, two newly built workshops were completed, one for Metal Work and the other for Wood Work. A third temporary workshop has been fitted out for bicycle restoration.

The social space is large and comfortable and set up for activities including socialising, discussion and interest groups including photography, cooking, home brewing, and technology.

A productive vegetable garden is maintained, and provides produce for the monthly members lunch.

Other activities include local excursions and tours of exhibitions and places of interest, a travel group staying in caravan parks and tourist resorts and an occasional 4wd camping group.

Most current members are retired but all men are welcome. The Shed is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of each week, from 9:00am until 3:00pm, and on other days for individual activities.

Members accept community projects, work on personal projects, and assist  community group events.

Eltham Men's Shed provides a venue where men can meet other men in a safe and welcoming environment, and work shoulder-to-shoulder on projects and engage with their local community.
